Digg clones
With the success of the social networking site Digg, many websites out there are trying to be similiar to Digg. Yesterday I mentioned a site similiar to Digg called bumpzee.com. I don’t like bumpzee, but I found a couple others called Plugim and Sphinn , that I have yet to try. Most social networking plugins for wordpress won’t include these newer less known sites, so you will have to pick up the code individually. That is the tradeoff with these social networking buttons, as there is only so many buttons you can put in your blog posts before it looks trashy. Social networking sites are effective traffic getters on certain types of sites, but the newer ones. usually don’t warrant filling each blog post with a bunch of different icons.
